How booking and payment work
Request the stay on this site. We'll confirm your request within 24 hours, then you pay on Stripe Checkout. Open a home from our homes to see its availability calendar and request your dates. The same homes are also listed on Airbnb and Vrbo.
You are not charged when you request the stay. After we approve, Stripe Checkout takes 50% of lodging, cleaning, and taxes & fees, plus a pet fee only when your quote shows one, and saves the card. The balance is charged 14 days before check-in. If you book within 14 days of check-in, you pay 100% at confirmation. A $300 refundable damage deposit is a charge, not a hold, collected about 3 days before check-in. If the home is clean and undamaged, it is refunded within 24 hours of the checkout inspection. The quote lists every charge before you request.
Cancellation
Cancel 7 or more days before the 4:00 p.m. check-in and lodging plus taxes are refunded in full. Cancel within 7 days and half of lodging plus taxes is refunded. After check-in, or if you do not show up, lodging and tax are not refunded. Cleaning and the damage deposit are refunded if you cancel before check-in. A pet fee is refunded then only when one was charged. The quote lists the deadline for the dates you chose. The full text is in the rental agreement. See the house rules.
